C\u00e9l\u00e9brons le 80e anniversaire d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement naval historique. <\/h3>\n\n

Le 8 mai marque la fin de la bataille de l\u2019Atlantique, la plus longue bataille ininterrompue de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Ce fut un effort d\u00e9terminant de la Marine royale canadienne, qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 de septembre 1939 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin de la guerre. <\/p>\n\n

Ces efforts ont propuls\u00e9 la MRC au rang de quatri\u00e8me flotte navale en importance au monde gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une vaste campagne de construction navale et de recrutement tout au long de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.<\/p>\n\n
